Travelling the world over the last 25 years, we´ve visited lots of places and hotels, where luxury, relaxation and personal
treatment has been guaranteed from the PR people and their promotional flyers.
But in all those places, we found lots of things around us; telephones, Mini Bar, flat screen TV, Dolby surround sound,
HiFi, jaccuzzi and Olympic-sized swimming pools, electronically locked safes, Card keys, Internet connections, 24 hours room
service, supposed relaxation areas and health and beauty centres.
We asked ourselves ‘Do you really need these things to enjoy your holiday?’ and ‘Do you want to
recreate all that when you visit Villa Cartoceto?’
Sometimes it seemed to us that you needed to be more organised on a holiday than when you’re at work and that’s
why we’ve renounced all these so-called objects of desire.
So you won’t find telephones, mini bars, flat screen TVs etc at Villa Cartoceto., but what you will find is
that we aim to fulfill your desires and show you the real pleasures of tourism:

Welcoming and hosting you is our pleasure, and
therefore we treat you like a person, respecting your wishes, answering your queries.
We want our guests to pull off their watches, switch off their mobile phones, chill out, enjoy the view from our
roof terrace. Perhaps you could be drinking a welcome glass of fresh Cartoceto white wine, letting the village of Cartoceto
and its people surprise and delight you.
What you will see are real Italians going about their daily lives in the village, all around you - no organised coach
tours to see a typical villager in a typical house are necessary!
And if you feel like visiting some point of cultural interest or spending a day at the beach, just do so!
Time can be savoured in Cartoceto, hurrying isn’t worth a thing.
So just relax, watch, hear, feel, smell and touch everything around you.
