Axel Bach

Axel: Born on May 8^th, 1963 in Saarbrücken, close to the French border. I took my apprenticeship and went straight into the three-star Michelin restaurant Tantris in Munich.

After that I worked in Eckart Witzigmann’s Aubergine and at the Käfer Restaurant in Munich as Chef de rang. Followed by various positions in Thailand, U.S., Spain, Austria, France.

Then I became General Manager in the restaurant Mangostin Asia. Subsequently I was asked for the position of General Manager at the famous Restaurant-Theatre Pomp Duck and Circumstance for the tour in Germany.

Since 25 years I have the dream to create something special, what gave me the input to make the decision for Italy. Now, this dream comes true and with all experiences, my knowledge as well with charm and helpfulness, I will do my best for all guests of Villa Cartoceto.

Judith Volker

Judith: Born and raised in the Netherlands, in a small village called 'De Lutte' near the German border. After my graduation as Bachelor in Communications, I decided to enlarge my knowledge at the University Aix-Marseille in France.

My first job I became at Cirque du Soleil as Communication Agent on Tour where I had to take care of press and vip-events. After 2 years I switched to the Cirque's co-production Pomp Duck and Circumstance and worked there as Marketing-Communications Coordinator.

Then I decided to change branch and started to work as communications consultant for online presentations. In 2001 I moved to Munich to start working for AOL as project manager for the computing channel.

My passion is to give hospitality, in a beautiful environment. With Villa Cartoceto I hope to present our guest something special and unforgettable.
